Put this 5-inch 62 Series swivel on the front of a hand-pushed cart in a crowded aisle, the high-impact polymer caster whose precision ball bearing steers light under load and whose wheel shrugs off impact.
A high-impact polymer wheel absorbs impact that splits a brittle hard tread, and it resists the chemicals a wash-down or plating line throws at it to 220°F. The precision ball bearing is the difference here: the swivel breaks into a turn and rolls off under load with little effort, so the 5-inch cart steers light in a crowded aisle. Zinc-plated finish, precision ball raceway, flat-deck top plate.
Ideal applications
- Steer end of hand-pushed carts in crowded aisles
- Chemical or plating splash to 220°F
- Light-turning swivel under a loaded 5-inch cart
Past 220°F or on a floor that must not mark, this wheel is the wrong pick; reach for a nylon 62NG05201S for the heat or a polyurethane 62PD05201S for a quiet tread.
