About This Caster - 62NX04228S
Choose this 4-inch 62 Series swivel for an industrial cart that takes hard hits, the high-impact polymer caster whose wheel absorbs the shock where a brittle composite cracks and a hard wheel chips on the first jolt.
A hard or brittle wheel splits when a loaded cart slams a dock plate or a forklift bumps it; the 62 Series high-impact polymer wheel flexes to take the hit without cracking and shrugs off chemicals to 220°F, which a wash or process-line cart needs. The precision ball bearing carries the medium-heavy load cool through the turn, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty, zinc-plated.
