About This Caster - 410NX08528R
Set this 8-inch nylon rigid on a fixed corner of the toughest heavy-duty cart that crosses hot or caustic floors on a long run.
At 8 inches the larger wheel rolls over joints with the least effort on a haul, and the 410 carries up to 5,400 pounds across the series. The black nylon wheel holds up to 220°F and harsh chemicals, an easier-rolling step below the iron wheel. The trade is that a hard wheel gives no cushioning and can be hard on a soft floor, so it suits sealed concrete. It is built kingpinless with no central kingpin to fail, with a wide 3-inch tread. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, rides on a precision ball bearing, and bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate.
