The kingpinless welded raceway is what makes a 10-inch iron swivel viable at this capacity: it carries the extreme shock and weight without a central kingpin to fail, and the 410 carries up to 5,400 pounds across the series. The ductile iron metal wheel holds from -100 to 800°F, and at 10 inches clears the biggest obstacles. The trade is that an iron wheel is hard, noisy, and damages a soft floor, so it belongs on bare concrete or steel. It rides on a roller bearing and bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate.
