About This Caster - 410FR08501S
Set this 8-inch ductile iron swivel on a steering corner of the toughest heavy foundry or oven cart that maneuvers across rough hot floors.
The kingpinless welded raceway carries the heavy shock an 8-inch iron-wheel cart drives through a swivel without a central kingpin to fail, and the 410 carries up to 5,400 pounds across the series. At 8 inches the large wheel rolls over joints while staying maneuverable, and the ductile iron metal wheel holds from -100 to 800°F. The trade is that an iron wheel is hard, noisy, and damages a soft floor, so it belongs on bare concrete or steel. It rides on a roller bearing and bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate.
