About This Caster - 410FR06501S
Set this 6-inch ductile iron swivel on a steering corner of the toughest foundry, oven, or freezer cart that maneuvers under extreme temperature and the heaviest loads.
The 410 is Albion's strongest Contender, carrying up to 5,400 pounds across the series, and the kingpinless welded raceway is what lets a swivel survive that duty: no central kingpin to fail under the shock an iron-wheel cart drives through it. The ductile iron metal wheel holds from -100 to 800°F. The trade is that an iron wheel is hard, noisy, and damages a soft floor, so it belongs on bare concrete or steel. It rides on a roller bearing and bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate, the largest in the line.
