Set this 8-inch ergonomic rubber rigid on a fixed corner of the heaviest quiet-facility cart that operators move long distances silently.

At 8 inches, the largest in this rubber line, the wheel rolls over seams and obstacles with the least push effort on a long run, and the grey rubber makes it the quietest, gentlest option: non-marking and cushioned, it rolls softly while protecting a finished floor for a hospital, lab, or office. It carries less than the polyurethane-on-aluminum version but rides softer. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, and the zinc-plated frame resists corrosion. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 9-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -45 to 180°F.
