About This Caster - 170PM05228S
Set this 5-inch Empire 170 swivel on a steering corner of an economical cart that maneuvers and clears thresholds.
The PM build is the value version of the Empire 170, with kingpinless durability and no central kingpin to loosen, carrying up to 1,000 pounds at this size. The kingpinless welded raceway keeps the swivel smooth under load, and the green round polyurethane tread is the standard firm durometer: non-marking and easy-rolling for everyday loads. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 6-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
