About This Caster - 170AN06228R
Set this 6-inch Empire 170 rigid on a fixed corner of a heavier dough trough or platform truck that crosses rough floors on a long run.
At 6 inches the larger wheel rolls over seams and obstacles with the least effort on a haul, and the orange round-profile polyurethane tread is non-marking, tough, and easy-rolling on a lightweight aluminum core that will not corrode. It is built kingpinless with no central kingpin to fail under shock. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 7-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.

- Non-marking orange tread on an aluminum core at a 7-1/2 mount height
- Kingpinless rigid rolling over seams for tow-line duty
