About This Caster - 16XS04201SFBA
Choose this 4-inch 16 Series swivel for a quiet cart that has to hold at a stop, the mold-on rubber caster whose face brake clamps the wheel while the tread rolls non-marking on a finished floor.
A hard braked wheel rumbles and scuffs a clean floor between stops; the 16 Series mold-on rubber tread on a polypropylene core rolls quiet and leaves no track, and the face brake presses a shoe against the wheel face to hold the cart at a station. The roller bearing carries the medium-heavy load at a walk, the 4-inch diameter keeps the deck low, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
