About This Caster - 16TM06201S
Choose this 6-inch phenolic swivel for a loaded shop cart that has to roll over rough oily floor on the steering corners, where the bigger wheel clears thresholds and the hard tread carries high load.
The 6-inch diameter rolls over floor breaks and debris a 5-inch wheel stalls on, and the hard molded phenolic carries a high load without deforming while shrugging off oil and grease, rated to 250°F. The roller bearing carries the weight under the swivel. It is the larger phenolic swivel of the 16 Series for heavier shop carts.
Ideal applications
- Loaded machine-shop carts crossing thresholds on oily floor, to 250°F
- Heavy assembly rigs on rough hard concrete, multi-shift
- Shop carts that need high load and obstacle clearance, single to multi-shift
Skip phenolic if the floor is finished or noise-sensitive; the hard tread marks and clatters, so a polyurethane 16EG or rubber 16 Series wheel rolls cleaner and quieter.
