About This Caster - 16SZ08227SFBA
Specify this 8-inch 16 Series swivel for the biggest cushioned cart that crosses bad floor and parks at a stop, the semi-pneumatic caster whose tall wheel soaks up the shock with no air tube and whose face brake holds it still.
A hard wheel jolts a fragile load and a pneumatic tire deflates on a nail; the 16 Series Monoprene semi-pneumatic tread on a zinc-plated aluminum center flexes to absorb the shock with no air to lose, and the face brake presses a shoe to the wheel face to hold the cart at a stop. The radial ball bearing rolls it true, the 8-inch diameter bridges the worst seams, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
