About This Caster - 16MG08201R
Set this 8-inch 16 Series rigid on the back corners of the biggest quiet warm-area cart, the rubber-on-aluminum caster whose metal core holds the tallest wheel true over a long haul where a plastic core would soften and run out of round.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel deforms under a heavy warm load on a long run; the 16 Series MG wheel molds the rubber to a solid aluminum core that stays true to 220°F while the tread stays quiet and non-marking, and the 8-inch diameter rolls over expansion joints and dock plates. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the rigid fork holds the line, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
