About This Caster - 16CA03201R
Set this 3-1/4-inch 16 Series rigid on the back corners of a low heat-service cart, the cast iron caster whose wheel survives heat to 800°F at the lowest profile in the series while the rigid fork tracks it straight.
Rubber gives by 180°F and phenolic chars past 250°F; the 16 Series cast iron wheel carries the highest load and rolls through radiant heat to 800°F, and the 3-1/4-inch diameter keeps an oven or furnace cart low and stable. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the rigid fork holds the line behind front swivels, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.

Skip the cast iron wheel if the floor is finished or noise matters; it marks the floor and runs loud, so a rubber 16XS04201R rolls quiet and non-marking and a phenolic 16TM04201R takes oil and heat to 250°F.
