About This Caster - 141AX06228R

Set this 6-inch spring-load polyurethane rigid on a fixed corner of a ground-support or line cart that has to roll loads across rough tarmac or shop floors.

The defining feature is the spring: a suspension built into the caster that compresses under load to absorb the shock and vibration of expansion joints, seams, and rough ground, which protects sensitive cargo and the equipment itself, the reason the 141 series is built for aviation ground support and automotive. The maroon polyurethane tread is non-marking and tough on a lightweight aluminum hub, the kingpinless frame has no kingpin to loosen, and the yellow dichromate finish resists corrosion. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at an 8-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
