Set this 5-inch rubber swivel with a face brake on a quiet washdown cart corner that steers, clears thresholds, then locks and holds.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding a loaded cart on its spot. The grey rubber tread is non-marking and cushioned, rolling quietly and protecting a finished floor for a hospital or lab cart. At 5 inches it clears seams while steering, the kingpinless welded swivel takes shock without a kingpin to loosen, and the stainless frame resists washdown corrosion. It steers on a stainless steel roller bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 6-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -45 to 180°F.
