About This Caster - 110NX06228S
Choose this 6-inch nylon swivel for a heavy cart that takes side load and impacts in tight turns, where a threaded kingpin shears or seizes mid-route and a brittle wheel cracks on the first hard hit.
This is Albion's 110 Contender Kingpinless construction: the swivel deletes the threaded kingpin entirely and rides on a heat-treated raceway, so a forklift bump or a mold shift driving side load through the swivel cannot shear or seize it the way it kills a kingpin caster. The high-impact nylon wheel resists the chipping that splits a hard wheel and shrugs off chemicals to 220°F. The precision ball bearing carries the load through the turn.

- Industrial transport in chemical or wash-adjacent areas, to 220°F
- Rigs where kingpin casters have been seizing under shock, multi-shift
Skip the nylon wheel if the floor runs near 800°F or the load needs a non-marking tread; a cast iron 110CA takes the heat and an AX polyurethane wheel rolls non-marking.
