Add this 4-inch commercial-grade caster kit to a heavier tool box or job box that crosses a rough shop floor, where taller wheels roll over cords and debris a small wheel hangs on.

The kit comes as a matched set of four: two swivel casters with a tread-lock brake for the steering corners and two rigid casters for the back. The 4-inch wheels turn on precision ball bearings for a low-effort push under a loaded box, and each caster bolts on through a 2-7/8 by 3-5/8 inch top plate. The tread-lock brakes hold the box still while you work, and at 4 inches the wheels clear shop debris a 3-inch wheel stops on. It is the commercial-grade middle size, between the light 3-inch and the heavy 5-inch kit.
