About This Caster - 160-2 1/2R
Choose this 2.5-inch polypropylene swivel for a light-to-medium cart or fixture where value matters and the wheel has to shrug off water without rusting or swelling.
The wheel is solid polypropylene, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rot and rolls with low resistance on a smooth floor, which is why Faultless builds the 160 series for light-to-medium carts where cost counts. The swivel turns on the top plate so the cart steers in tight space, and the 2-3/4 by 3-13/16 inch plate bolts to a flat frame. The trade is the ride: a hard poly wheel has no cushion and runs firm over seams, so it suits a smooth floor rather than a rough one.
