The wheel is solid polypropylene, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rot and rolls with low resistance on a smooth floor, which is why Faultless builds the 160 series for light-to-medium carts where cost counts. The swivel turns on the top plate so the cart steers in tight space, and the 2-3/4 by 3-13/16 inch plate bolts to a flat frame.
