Specify the TE1-10D for the heaviest foot a 2-inch schedule 10 pipe leg will take, a brass insert that gives the open pipe end a deep 3/4-10 socket for a coarse leveling stud, with no welding.

The 3/4-10 thread carries the most load in the pipe line, and the brass body is what lets the thin schedule 10 wall accept it: the insert spreads the stud's load over the full seated length instead of concentrating it on a few shallow threads cut into the pipe. That keeps a heavy pipe frame on its level under real weight. Brass also holds the thread true in the sealed pipe end, where trapped moisture would rust a steel insert until the stud seized solid.

Ideal applications

• Heavy pipe-built frame needing the largest leveling thread
• Schedule 10 leg carrying most of a load on one corner
• Pipe machine base leveled with a 3/4-10 stud, no welder needed

Skip the TE1-10D if the leg is 1-1/2 inch round tube; the TE1-1D is bored for that tube with the same 3/4-10 thread.
