About This Leveling Mount - TE1-10A
Specify the TE1-10A to put an adjustable foot on a pipe leg, a brass insert that presses into 2-inch schedule 10 pipe and gives the open end a 3/8-16 socket for a light leveling stud, with no welding.
A pipe frame has no flat surface to bolt a foot to, just an open bore, so a leveling stud needs something to thread into. The pressed brass end becomes that thread. It seats into the schedule 10 wall and holds a clean 3/8-16 socket, which saves you from capping and drilling the pipe or welding a nut across the end and warping it. Brass also stays free in the sealed bottom of a pipe leg, where condensation rusts a steel part until the stud will not turn.
Ideal applications
- Pipe-built machine guard frame getting light adjustable feet
- Schedule 10 pipe rack leveled without capping the leg ends
- Open pipe leg that needs a thread without a welded nut
Skip the TE1-10A if the leg is 1-1/2 inch round tube; the TE1-1A is cut for that tube with the same 3/8-16 thread.
Pairs with: a 3/8-16 leveling stud such as the BSW-1, which threads into this socket.
Wrong fit? Round tube leg, or a heavier foot? See the TE1-1A and the 1/2-13 TE1-10B.
Also in this family: TE1-10B, TE1-10C, and the full Leveling Mounts collection.
