Model Q is the fully equipped starting point in the Proline ergonomic line: a 60 inch bench that arrives with the power, light, storage and shelf already on it rather than as a list of things to add later.

The height range is the reason to specify an ergonomic base at all. Thirty to 42 inches covers a seated operator, a standing one, and the same station shared across shifts by people of different heights, which is what turns a bench from one person's workstation into a cell anybody can run. On top of that base the package is a 60 inch by 30 inch plastic laminate work surface, a 6 inch drawer, a bin holder, a 120 volt 15 amp power supply, an overhead light, and a 60 inch by 12 inch cantilever shelf that lifts parts and documentation off the work surface. The frame is painted blue.

Plastic laminate is the general-purpose top: easy to wipe, kind to the parts set down on it, and no cost premium for properties a mechanical assembly bench never uses.
