About This Caster - ES8X2PHN
Set this 8-inch phenolic swivel on the steering corners of a heavy cart that crosses dock plates and broken floor and has to steer, where the tall wheel bridges the gaps and the resin shrugs off oil and heat.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint, rolls with low resistance, and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The 8-inch diameter clears dock plates and broken floor that stop a shorter wheel, the swivel turns on a roller bearing so even the tall wheel steers by hand, and the black phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.

On a finished floor the hard phenolic marks; a poly-on-iron ES8X2MOP rolls non-marking under the same load.
