About This Caster - ER4X2TUM
Set this 4-inch E-line rigid on the back corners of a heavy non-marking cart, the TPU polyurethane caster whose firm maroon tread carries the load without flat-spotting and tracks straight where a rubber wheel sets and a hard wheel scuffs.
A TPR rubber wheel flattens under a heavy parked load and carries less; the Pemco TUM polyurethane tread on a polypropylene core carries the higher E-line load without setting and stays non-marking, while the rigid fork holds the cart straight behind front swivels. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the 4-inch diameter keeps the rear low, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of heavy non-marking carts
- Loads that flat-spot a rubber tread at the low height
- Straight tracking that cannot scuff the floor
Skip the polyurethane wheel if the cart works near heat over 180°F or on oily floors; a phenolic E-line wheel bears oil and heat to 250°F where TUM softens.
