About This Ball Transfer - MBT-1CS-1
Use this 1-inch drop-in ball transfer when the table is bored for the unit and you want a flush surface with no studs or flange showing.
A drop-in ball transfer seats into a 1.40625-inch hole machined in the plate and is held by the bore itself, so the housing sits flush with the surface and there are no fasteners on top to snag a load. The carbon-steel ball rolls on a bed of smaller steel balls, letting a box or panel move any direction and rotate in place. This is the cleanest mount of the group for a finished table or a tool plate, and the carbon-steel ball suits a dry indoor surface.
Ideal applications
- Bored tool plates and tables wanting a flush, fastener-free ball
- 1.40625-inch hole that holds the drop-in housing
- Dry indoor transfer surfaces moving loads any direction
For a stud or flange mount instead of a bored hole, the stud SBT-1CS-5/16-18-1 and flange BT-1-CS-1 bolt on.
Pairs with: a plate drilled with a grid of 1.40625-inch holes for a flush ball-transfer table.
Wrong fit? Can't bore the plate? See the stud SBT-1CS-1/4-20-1 and the 2-hole flange BT-1-CS-1.
Also in this family: the 4-hole flange BT-1-1/2-CS, or the full Hudson Bearings collection.
