Bolt this 3-inch Regent rigid to the fixed corners of a light institutional cart that has to track straight and roll quiet.

A rigid caster does not swivel, so it holds the line behind the steering corners on a straight pull, the right pick for the back of a furniture dolly, an AV rack, or a food-service cart. The wheel is Shepherd's soft grey TPR rubber on a polyolefin core, quiet and non-marking, so it rolls a finished floor without leaving marks. At 3 inches it keeps the deck low and compact, riding on a plain bearing in a zinc-plated four-bolt top plate, holding from -40 to 180°F.
