About This Caster - PRE30120ZN-TPRB
Use this 3-inch Regent swivel on the corner of a flat-framed cart that rolls quiet and then has to hold its spot once parked.
It bolts down through a 2-5/8 by 3-3/4 inch top plate, and a side brake adds a lever that presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free to point. The wheel is a soft grey thermoplastic rubber on a polyolefin core, a 1-inch tread that rolls near-silent and non-marking from -40 to 180°F, and the 3-inch diameter keeps a moderate deck at a workable height. The plain bearing keeps the roll simple.
Ideal applications
- Flat-framed corners that park on a grade or in traffic
- Mid-height carts held still without a separate floor chock
- Food-service and electronics rigs braked on a quiet rubber wheel
If the corner only rolls, the plain PRE30120ZN-TPR drops the brake and the extra width.
