Pick this 5-inch Performa wheel when you want the quiet, floor-friendly rubber tread but the cart is heavier than a ball-bearing wheel is happy carrying.
The roller bearing is the upgrade here: it carries more load than a ball bearing and keeps rolling under the weight where a lighter bearing would bind, so a loaded institutional cart still moves without dragging. The soft Colson Performa rubber on a polypropylene core keeps the quiet, non-marking roll that makes Performa the institutional choice, now under a heavier deck.
