About This Caster - ES5X2TUMDTBK
Choose this 5-inch E-line swivel for a heavy non-marking wash cart that pauses at a stop, the TPU polyurethane caster whose firm maroon tread carries the load while a greaseless Delrin bore steers through the damp and a tread lock holds the wheel.
A TPR rubber wheel flat-spots under a heavy load and a packed ball bearing seizes in a wash area; the Pemco TUM polyurethane tread on a polypropylene core carries the higher E-line load without setting and stays non-marking, the Delrin bearing has no grease to rinse out and no race to corrode, and the tread lock clamps the wheel at a station. The 5-inch diameter clears a wet-floor seam, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.

Skip the polyurethane wheel if the cart works near heat over 180°F or on oily floors; a phenolic E-line wheel tolerates oil and heat to 250°F where TUM gives.
