About This Caster - AS40G1TPUTL
Choose this 4-inch A-line swivel where a press-in tube leg needs a non-marking wheel that also locks dead-still on a finished floor.
The grey thermo-urethane tread on a cast iron core rolls easier under load than a hard plastic wheel and leaves no marks on a light floor, holding from -45 to 180°F, and the total lock pins the wheel and the swivel head together so a parked cart can neither roll nor pivot. The precision ball bearing keeps it turning smoothly between locks, and the 7/16-inch grip-ring stem presses into a round leg by hand.
Ideal applications
- Press-in tube legs needing a non-marking, locking corner
- Finished floors where a parked cart must not roll or swing
- Heavier light-to-medium loads on a ball-bearing wheel
