About This Caster - D4.08108.831 RW SS
Use this 8-inch Defender D4 rigid on a sterilization or retort cart that clears the biggest obstacles through steam and high heat, grease-free.
The blue hi-temp retort polypropylene wheel rides through autoclave and food-processing retort cycles where heat and steam would soften an elastomer, holding to 250°F and resisting sterile-processing chemicals. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof, and the tallest 8-inch wheel bridges the widest cracks and clears big obstacles with the least effort, on a stainless steel frame for wash-down service. The wheel is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft floor. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
