A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding the heaviest hand-pushed cart on its spot. The 410 carries up to 5,400 pounds across the series, the green polyurethane on a cast iron core pairs that capacity with a non-marking, floor-friendly tread, the roller bearing is built for the heaviest manual loads, and as the largest braked caster in the 410 line it clears the biggest obstacles while the kingpinless welded raceway takes the extreme shock without a central kingpin to fail. It has a wide 3-inch tread, bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
