About This Caster - 410PF08528R
Set this 8-inch polyurethane-on-iron rigid on a fixed corner of the toughest heavy-duty cart that has to carry real weight without tearing up the floor.
The 410 is Albion's strongest Contender, carrying up to 5,400 pounds across the series, and the yellow polyurethane on a cast iron core is its floor-friendly heavy hauler: the iron core carries the load while the tough, abrasion-resistant polyurethane is non-marking, easy-rolling, and kinder to the floor than bare iron or hard nylon. It is built kingpinless with no central kingpin to fail. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, rides on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
