About This Caster - 170CA04201SFBC
Choose this 4-inch braked cast iron swivel for a low cart or rack that works near heat and has to be parked and held, where a polymer wheel softens at temperature and a wheel-only design lets the rack drift.
The grey cast iron wheel holds its rating to 800°F where rubber and polyurethane fail, and the face brake clamps a shoe against the tread to hold the rack in place. The roller bearing carries the load, and the 4-inch size keeps the deck low. It is the compact braked high-heat caster of the 170 Series for ovens, kilns, and heat lines.
