Most soft wheels die in the wrong air: natural rubber hardens and checks under ozone from motors and welders, and it swells in oil and solvent. Neoprene resists all of that while keeping the soft, quiet, non-marking ride that protects finished floors and dampens vibration. Bonded to a rigid aluminum core, the tread rolls easy and the core will not rust or deflect under load the way a plastic hub can. The ball bearing suits steady travel, and the wheel works from -22°F to 220°F.
