About This Caster - 2.02254.441 MTG14
Choose this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the fine 5/8-18 stem for a heavier leg that shakes or is tapped fine, the quiet maintenance-free caster whose larger fine-pitch stud grips against vibration.
The 5/8-18 UNF thread combines a larger 5/8 diameter with a fine pitch, so it both reaches deep into a heavier leg and resists backing out under vibration where a coarse stud would walk loose. It is the right stud for a motorized or heavier frame already tapped fine. The Delrin plain bearing rolls maintenance-free, and the soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the vibration-resistant caster for a heavy fine-tapped leg.
