About This Caster - 2.02254.441 MTG10
Choose this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the short 1/2-13 x 3/4 stem for equipment with a shallow tapped boss, the quiet caster whose stud is sized to seat fully in a short socket without bottoming out.
Stem length has to match the socket depth: a longer stud run into a shallow tapped boss bottoms out before the shoulder seats, leaving the caster loose, while this 3/4-inch 1/2-13 stud is cut to seat flush in a short coarse-tapped leg. The soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking, and the Delrin plain bearing rolls maintenance-free. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the quiet caster for OEM equipment and stands with a short coarse-tapped leg.
Ideal applications
- OEM equipment with a shallow 1/2-13 tapped boss, sealed floor
- Quiet stand whose short socket cannot take a long stud
