About This Wheel - SE 160/20K
Fit this 160mm wheel to a heavier cart that needs a cushioned tread and a stronger hub than the nylon-centre sizes.
The Blickle EasyRoll tyre is elastic solid rubber at hardness 65 that cushions the load and keeps rolling resistance low, so even a heavier cart starts and rolls without a hard shove and rides quietly over joints. The difference here is the centre: a thick-walled pressed steel hub that carries more weight than the nylon-centre wheels, which moves this size into heavier transport duty. It runs on a ball bearing and takes a 20mm axle through the bore. At 160mm by 50mm it clears larger floor obstacles, and it holds from -4 to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 160mm steel-centre cushioned wheel for heavier carts
- 50mm elastic rubber tread on a thick-walled steel hub
- Steel-centre 160mm wheel clearing seams on a 20mm axle
For more diameter and a higher-capacity hub, the 200mm version rolls over bigger obstacles.
