About This Wheel - GTH 127/20K
Use this 127mm wheel as a support or stabiliser wheel on an industrial truck or material handler, the wheel that takes the load only when the machine tips or articulates and has to absorb that shock without breaking down.
The grey cast iron centre carries the sudden support load without hub flex, and the Blickle Extrathane polyurethane tread takes the impact when the wheel slams into contact under an articulating frame. Together they handle the intermittent shock loading a support position sees, which is harder on a wheel than the steady roll of a load wheel.
Ideal applications
- Support and stabiliser wheels on industrial and material-handling trucks
- Outrigger and anti-tip positions on articulating equipment, hard floor
- Machine bases where a wheel takes intermittent shock load, sealed concrete
Skip this support wheel if the position is a steady-rolling load wheel; a load-rated GTH 150 or aluminium-cored ALTH is sized for continuous rolling rather than intermittent shock.
