About This Caster - BIK-G 125G-1

Choose this 125mm Blickle BIK cast iron rigid caster when a straight-line cart has to run through high heat that would destroy a rubber, polyurethane, or nylon wheel.

The wheel is rugged cast iron, rated to handle continuous heat up to 518°F, which makes it a fit for oven lines, kilns, bakeries, and foundry areas. It rolls with low effort on hard ground but is hard with no cushioning, so it is noisy, passes shock to the load, can mark, and belongs on bare concrete or steel rather than soft or finished floors. The plain bore bearing is a simple bushing with no packed grease to break down in heat, suited to slow, heavy, intermittent moves. The bracket is a Blickle BIK-series pressed-steel fork, zinc-plated and blue-passivated to a chromium-6-free finish. The fixed fork tracks straight on a 100 by 85 millimetre top plate at a 150 millimetre mount height, and it holds from -22 to 518°F.
