About This Wheel - ALB 101/15K
Choose this 100mm wheel for a heavy transport cart on a 15mm axle that needs a high load and the easiest possible roll on a smooth floor.
The tread is Blickle's Besthane, a firm polyurethane at 92 Shore A on a die-cast aluminium centre, and the firmness is the point: it carries a high load and rolls with very low resistance, so a loaded cart moves with little effort, where a soft wheel would drag. The aluminium centre carries the weight at low mass. The trade for that efficiency is no cushioning, so it suits a smooth hard floor. The brown tread is abrasion-resistant and holds from -4 to 158°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm heavy transport carts on a 15mm axle, smooth floors
- Firm Besthane carrying high load with very low rolling resistance
- Aluminium-centre 100mm wheel that moves a loaded cart easily
For more diameter on the same 15mm axle, the 125mm ALB 125/15K clears bigger obstacles.
