About This Caster - 310PF06428R
Set this 6-inch polyurethane-on-iron rigid on a fixed corner of a heavy-duty cart that has to carry real weight without tearing up the floor.
The yellow polyurethane tread on a cast iron core is the floor-friendly heavy hauler in the 310 line: the iron core carries high loads while the tough, abrasion-resistant polyurethane is non-marking, easy-rolling, and kinder to the floor than the bare iron or hard nylon wheels. It is built on the American-made 310 frame of heat-treated laser-cut steel with fully welded legs and no kingpin to fail. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, rides on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 6-1/4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
