Set this 8-inch ductile iron swivel with a face brake on a heavy foundry or oven cart corner that steers under extreme temperature, then parks and holds.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding the heaviest cart on its spot. The ductile iron metal wheel carries the highest loads and holds from -100 to 800°F, and at 8 inches it clears joints while the kingpinless welded raceway takes the shock without a central kingpin to fail. The trade is that an iron wheel is hard, noisy, and damages a soft floor, so it belongs on bare concrete or steel. It is built on the American-made heat-treated laser-cut steel frame, rides on a roller bearing, and bolts on a 6-1/4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.
