Temperature and corrosion are what break a caster on a ramp or in an unheated hold. A hard wheel cracks when it is loaded cold, and an unprotected swivel rusts stiff after a season of weather and runway chemicals. This Albion answers both: the white nylon wheel stays tough and rolls clean to -40°F without going brittle, and the yellow dichromate finish shields the steel from the salt and de-ice fluid that pit a plated caster. Double-sealed precision bearings in the swivel and the wheel keep grit out so the unit still rolls smooth after the exposure.
