About This Caster - 28AN06228SFBK
Use this 6-inch 28 Series swivel on a high-traffic cart that operators push all day and that has to park and hold.
The 28 Series extended lead trails the wheel farther behind the swivel axis, so the cart steers with less push and pull force and rolls quietly, and a face brake presses on the wheel to stop it once the cart is parked. The wheel is polyurethane in the orange compound, non-marking on a finished floor and holding from -40 to 180°F. The brake holds the wheel while the swivel keeps the extended-lead steering, so the operator gets both easy steering on the move and a firm hold when the cart is parked.
