Kingpin casters use a single bolt to connect the swivel raceway, which is adequate for many applications but can become a failure point under extreme loads. Kingpinless designs, which Jarvis offers across their heavy-duty line, eliminate this single point of failure by using a captured raceway system that distributes load more evenly and provides smoother swivel action under heavy weight.
