These extruded aluminum stair climbers bolt onto a hand truck's frame and give it a set of curved skids, so a loaded truck rides down a flight of stairs one step at a time instead of dropping off each tread.
Stairs are where a plain hand truck gets dangerous: the wheels fall off each step and slam down, jarring the load loose and the operator's arms with it. The curved climber rails ride the stair noses and let the truck roll over the edges in a controlled glide, keeping the load steady and the descent smooth. Extruded aluminum keeps the climbers light enough not to weigh the truck down while standing up to the scrape of stair after stair. Bolt them to a compatible hand-truck frame to add stair capability or to replace a worn set.
