Choose the TE2-2B for a larger 2-inch round tube leg that needs a 1/2-13 foot, a brass insert sized to the bigger 16ga tube ID so the leveling stud seats tight instead of rattling loose.

Fit is the whole job with a tube end: an insert cut for a smaller tube drops into 2-inch stock with play, and a loose end works back and forth until the stud wallows and the leg loses its level. This one is matched to the 2-inch 16ga inside diameter, so the brass grips the wall and holds the 1/2-13 thread steady. Brass also resists the corrosion that swells and seizes a steel insert in the closed, damp bottom of the leg, and it presses in without the warping a welded nut brings.

Ideal applications

• Large 2-inch round-tube frame needing tight-fitting feet
• Tubular base where a loose insert would wallow the stud
• 16ga round leg leveled with a 1/2-13 stud, no welding

Skip the TE2-2B if the leg is 1-1/2 inch round tube; the smaller 1/2-13 TE1-1B matches that tube ID instead.
