About This Leveling Mount - TE1-1B
Specify the TE1-1B to give a hollow round leg a threaded foot, a brass insert that presses into 1-1/2 inch 16ga round tube and leaves a 1/2-13 socket ready for a leveling stud, with no welding.
The brass body is the right call inside a tube end for two reasons: it grips the inside wall without cracking the way a stamped insert can, and it will not rust in the closed, damp pocket at the bottom of a leg where a steel nut corrodes and seizes. The alternative, welding a nut into thin 16ga wall, warps the tube and burns the finish. The pressed brass end seats clean, holds the 1/2-13 thread true, and lets a stud turn for the life of the rack.

- Round-tube rack base that needs adjustable feet without welding
- Equipment frame of 1-1/2 inch 16ga tube fitted for level studs
Skip the TE1-1B if your leg is square tube or a different diameter; it is cut for 1-1/2 inch 16ga round tube only, and a loose fit will not hold the stud.
