Choose the TE1-10B for a 2-inch schedule 10 pipe leg that needs a mid-weight 1/2-13 foot, a brass insert that seats square in the bore so the leveling stud runs true instead of cocked.

A stud is only as straight as the thread it turns in, and a nut welded across a pipe end almost never sits square, so the foot leans and the load rides one edge of the pad. The pressed brass end registers on the pipe bore as it goes in, holding the 1/2-13 thread on the pipe's own axis. The stud then comes down plumb and the foot sits flat. Brass keeps that thread serviceable in the closed, damp end of the pipe where steel would seize.

Ideal applications

• Pipe equipment frame where feet must sit plumb, not cocked
• Schedule 10 leg leveled with a mid-weight 1/2-13 stud
• Pipe rack where a welded nut would leave the foot leaning

Skip the TE1-10B if the leg is 1-1/2 inch round tube; the 1/2-13 TE1-1B is sized for that tube instead.
